This is Poval Kogyo’s special technology, which others cannot duplicate.
The bonding process is one that laminates objects together, but some objects, like metals and rubber products, do not bond easily.
However, with the bonding know-how we have built up over years, we offer bonding processes that can handle materials that are hard to laminate and are capable of high-mix low-volume production of products of various dimensions and shapes.
We will tackle any bonding process, regardless of material, size, and shape, including bonding processes that use machines like a high-frequency welder or hot-air welder.

Adhesion bonding process in a clean room
clean room
We added a new clean room to our facilities for food- and semiconductor-related production, which requires a degree of cleanliness.
Deploying all the equipment that the bonding process needs, we offer the industry’s fastest bonding process for dust- and dirt-free products used in foods and semiconductors.

Largest Domestic-Class Hot Press
To handle the needs of large products, we have a 3,000 mm-wide coater and a 2,500 mm x 3,000 mm hot press, which is in the largest domestic class, and we use such equipment to provide high-accuracy bonding processes.

Typical Bonding Processes
Urethane sponge + steel beltUrethane sponge + steel belt

Used in the transportation of steel plates for automobile bodies.
We bonded urethane sponge and steel belt materials together in order to satisfy conditions such as “high-speed transport,” “no dirt or other foreign substances,” and “the belt on the edge of the steel plate must not tear.”

Teflon sheet + V-beltTeflon sheet + V-belt

Used in paint application lines.
Boards are painted as they are transported by V-belt. Because of its non-sticking properties, Teflon is difficult to bond with other materials.
With our technology, however, we managed to achieve this, striking a balance between the paint-repelling properties of Teflon and the strength of the V-belt.

1 mm urethane + perforated steel belt1 mm urethane + perforated steel belt

Used in measuring powder.
The thickness of a perforated steel belt was increased by affixing 1 mm of urethane to it.
Normally, a steel belt requires a pulley whose diameter is about 600 times the belt thickness.
By using urethane to increase the belt thickness, however, it was possible to use a smaller pulley.
The belt is used instead of a cup to measure powder, which passes through the holes in the belt.

We handle high-mix low-volume production.
