What is Estena?
Estena (our proprietary product name) is non-woven fabric made of polyester, nylon and aramid, and widely used for industrial purposes.
By applying special treatments to these fabrics, physical and chemical properties such as water absorption, cushioning, shock-resistance, abrasion resistance, filter functions and other capabilities beyond the chemical resistance and heat proofing which are characteristic of non-woven fabric.
These products have a wide range of application and have great possibilities for the future.
In addition to our non-woven fabric products, we offer highly original products that add value to non-woven fabric, such as special processed products and manufacturing composite material that utilize the know how we have accumulated in various area of adhesive joining and resin processing manufacture.
This widely used non-woven fabric excels in weather resistance and in resistance to chemicals and acids.
Since the Young’s modulus is low these products have distinctive flexibility and excels in resistance to abrasion, resistance to fatigue and resistance to alkali.
This fabric is especially excellent for its heat resistance and flame resistance.

The degree of hardness and strength can be raised by treatment with polyurethane resins.
